20th International Scientific Conference:

            GLOBAL PROBLEMS OF AGRICULTURE AND FOOD ECONOMY

Department of International Economics and Agribusiness  WULS – SGGW is warmly inviting you to participate in the 20th International Science Conference on Global Problems of Agriculture and Food Economy to be held on June 29th-30th, 2023 in Warsaw – Rogów, Poland.

Every year since 2004, we have hosted the representatives of different scientific institutions who in their scientific research, deal with global and regional determinants of the development of rural areas. Just like in the previous years, the 2023 conference is to be a broad scientific forum focused on exchanging views, experiences and concepts of solving contemporary dilemmas in the science-research sphere concerning the international determinants of development of agriculture and food economy.

CONFERENCE TOPICS

cover the following global and international aspects of agro-food economy:

  • Perspectives and determinants of development of agro-food economy and rural areas
  • State policy and their impact on the development of agro-food economy
  • Processes of globalization and integration in the agro-food economy
  • International trade and movements of factor of production
  • Competitiveness and innovativeness in agro-food economy
  • Prices and their determinants in agriculture and food economy
  • Agro-food marketing chain
  • Consumption patterns and food security
  • Methodological aspects of the evaluation of development of food economy and rural areas
  • The role of human capital in economic development
  • Natural resources and environmental impact assessment
  • Sectorial implications of the conflict in Ukraine
  • The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the agro-food sector
  • Development of agriculture and rural areas in Mazovia region

We hope that the topics of the conference will turn out to be interesting for you, and the conference will give a great opportunity to exchange views, have inspiring discussions and will contribute to development of the Polish economic ideology.

After receiving positive reviews, the papers will be published in:

 HOW TO APPLY FOR THE CONFERENCE:

  • Filling out a participation application form on the website:

CONFERENCE PARTICIPATION PRICE:

Option 1 – participation in the conference with publication in Problems of World Agriculture, Scientific Journal of WULS-SGGW (in Polish and English), 100 EUR.

Option 2 – participation in the conference without the paper, 100 EUR.

Option 3 – only publication of the paper in Problems of World Agriculture, Scientific Journal of WULS-SGGW, free of charge.
